A watery scene of hardwork!

Blob Corp. Studios now has the difficult task of animating a scene full of water, ripples and splashes. After being ill for a long weekend i feel i have wasted enough time laying about and am now jumping straight into the scene. I will update as i progress, in the meantime here is where the scene is at the moment:

( Blob ponders what waits in the lake)

My Youtube design has been refurbished and can be seen at www.youtube.com/menhenick

Blob Corp. Studios takes a step up Professionally!

Blob Corp. Studios has now got 250 full coloured business cards which show those who are interested where to go and how to get in touch =) I am very pleased with the prints and how fast the delivery was especially as they came all the way from the Netherlands 0_0

(Apologies for the dodgy lighting)

The site i used to create and order these cards was:

www.vistaprint.co.uk

A good reliable company that I will certainly use in the future ^_^

'Blob and the last Phoenix Title sequence completion'

Usually i complete title sequences at the end of the animation but i decided to finish this one as soon as possile once getting certain voices needed. The look i went for is a simplistic pastel smudged kinda style with a voice over explaining the history and this will lead into the main film. Here's two screenshots to better understand the style i was trying to achieve:

The animation itself is still in the midst of scene 2 where blob is about to make a very high jump, more updates and screenshots coming soon!

Speeding onwards into Scene 2

Blob Corp. Studios is into scene 2 now and has clear vision of what is needed to be done. Apart from detailed backgrounds and some tricky water animation, scene 2 should be realtively straightforward for the most part. Here is two screenshots from the beginning of scene 2:

(Blob discovers the location of the Last Phoenix nest)

(Blob has a long way to travel to get to 'Phoenix Hill' NOTE: Animals such as wild boars and birds are going to be added)

Animation production to slow down T_T

Soon it will be that time of year for Blob Corp. Studios to attend college and improve on animation skills, so animating in my spare time will continue but the speed of progress will sadly take a slower pace. Not to worry i will keep working hard and here's a screenshot (again):

(Razza and Ermot walk outside castle grounds)

The End of Scene 1 (Nearly)

Nearing the epic chase of Scene 1 now, so thought I'd release some screenshots:

(Poor Blob, it would be easier to hold stuff if he had arms)

(Razza and Ermot seem to be pretty annoyed at Blob)

Nearing End of Scene 1

'Blob and the last Phoenix' is nearing completion of scene 1 out of five scenes altogether, scene 1 is laying down the plot and getting the story going. Here is a screenshot:

(Closer shot of Razza holding something, what could it be? Maybe a used tissue?)
